Fitit is a toy enabling children to build and play in a sustainable and creative way. This can be achieved with our Fitters. Fitters are round wooden disks in which you can fit cardboard. With this you can make an unlimited variety of cardboard creations! Take for example a house with a garden to play in or a car to race with your friends. The only limitation is your own creativity. The benefit of using carboard is that this material is cheap, accessible and sustainable. It is available everywhere - mostly free - and easily recyclable. And by for example building something from a carboard box, you are reusing this material yourself!

After testing we found out that children enjoyed it more to freely play than follow an instruction booklet. We began to focus on supporting open-ended play by making this Fitter techniques card to guide children while creating

After the positive responses we decided as a group to sell our product on the market and start a company. Over 2500 pieces have been sold and 30 workshops were given at primary schools.

We started doing workshops where over a 100 children played with Fitters in one day. We kept children entertained by initiating challenges and making video tutorials they could follow during COVID. To boost our online sales we stood at the Maker Fair Eindhoven twice and made promotional material in the shape of flyers, social media posts, videos.
